BE CONSCIOUS OF OUR HELPER

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—

John 14:16 NKJV

Man was not created to be alone, it is not our nature to be without God. God used marriage between a man and a woman

to illustrate that,” and the two shall be one”. (Genesis 2:24) We cannot do anything by our strength. Just as our new wedding suit is of no use unless we wear it to the wedding, the same way we cannot do anything by ourselves without God.

That is why the new man is created in Christ. Ephesians 2:10 NLT says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” The old man was hijacked by the enemy, so man was doing the bad things God did not plan for Him. But now, we can do all the good things God planned for us through Christ, apart from Him, we can do nothing.

One might ask, why am I still doing the old things God did not plan for me if I am created new in Christ? It is because of our mindset. We have to renew our mind with the word of God. That is why the Lord said in John 15:5 NKJV, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

Abide is to keep trading our thoughts for His thoughts, be Christ conscious.

All we need for our finances, marriages, health and wellbeing etc are all supplied by the Vine. It doesn't matter the economy or the circumstances of the city we live in, we shall always triumph. For, “my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 NKJV)
