OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

BE CONTENT WE ARE PROSPEROUS IN CHRIST

and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

‭‭Romans 8:17 KJV‬‬

As joint heirs with Christ, our mindset should be that if Christ has it, we have it. We have the same life with Christ, Christ is our life. His prosperous life is our prosperous life. John 5:11-12 ERV‬‬ says, “ This is what God told us: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life, but whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

Many live in worries of have"s and have-nots when they play the part of the prodigal son who wants his own share of the father's wealth. But our mindset and consolation should be what the father told the first son in ‭‭Luke 15:31 ERV‬‬, ‘Oh, my son, you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.” We are inseparable with Christ. John 3:35 NIV‬‬

tells us that “The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.”

The Father's goal and dream for us is to conform us to the image of our Lord Jesus Christ, His prosperous life. So we should be joyful and content. No wonder the Psalmist said, “ No, right now I am calm and quiet, like a child after nursing, content in its mother’s arms.” (‭‭Psalms 131:2 ERV‬‬)
