Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Matthew 6:8 NIV

God did not give us all things, rather, He gave us Jesus so through Him we can have all things. 1 John 4:9 NIV says,

“ This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.”

The Father loves us to be in relationship with Him. He does not want the prodigal son kind of relationship of taking our own share and going our own way, away from Him. Remember we are no longer the sheep that went away, each to their own ways, rather ,we are the flock that have returned to their shepherd, the true Guardian of our souls.

So, instead of living away from our heavenly Father as the prodigal son did, we live from what the father told the elder son, “ ‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.”(Luke 15:31 NIV)

We don't need to have it all to be content, rather we are content because we have Jesus. Let us be Christ conscious. St. Paul said, “ I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13 NIV) It doesn't matter the economy in the world today, our mindset should be, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 NIV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO VALUE OUR UNION WITH CHRIST ABOVE ALL THINGS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
