Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.
Isaiah 52:2 NIV
Beloved, as we conclude this series, let us learn to walk in the joy that cannot be taken away from us—the joy that only God gives.
This joy comes when we walk in the perfect will of God. That is we enthrone His Word above our feelings and circumstances.
Romans 12:2 NIV says, “ Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Is there happiness in the world? Yes, there is happiness in the world, but many things can steal it. Circumstances can change overnight. Disappointments can come unexpectedly. Like moths and thieves, the troubles of life can attempt to steal the things that make us happy.
Imagine waking up in the morning and the enemy immediately begins whispering lies. Your feelings are speaking loudly. Your circumstances seem to be singing a song of defeat. What do you do? You simply enthrone what God has said above everything else.
Then your heart, your thoughts, and even your earthly circumstances will eventually have to align with the truth of God. Psalm 29:3 NLT says: “The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea.”
Yes, beloved, the voice of the Lord is above the noise! His Word is enthroned above every storm, every challenge, every fear, and every circumstance. The psalmist faced moments of discouragement too. Yet in Psalm 42:11 NLT, he declared: “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again—my Savior and my God!”»
That is the posture of someone who is enthroned with Christ.
SO RISE UP, BELOVED!
SIT ENTHRONED!
WALK IN JOY!
WALK IN VICTORY!
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE ENTHRONED ABOVE ALL THINGS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
