For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6 NLT

Arise and shine for you are the light of the world. The same word of God that brought light into a dark world in the beginning, now lives in us. This is in line with what the Holy Spirit spoke in Jeremiah 31:33 NLT “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts....” Romans 10:8 NKJV says, “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”

The entrance of this Word brought light. John 1:5 NLT says , “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” That is why Isaiah 60:2 NLT says, “ Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you.” For as our theme verse says, we can now see God's own divine greatness, the glory that was lost in Eden, in the face of Christ, in us.

That is why the Lord placed us on the mountain top so we can shine our light for the world to experience this glory of God in us and praise God. Let us be generous with our light for many, including children of God are still ignorant of this truth and are living in sickness and defeat. No wonder Psalms 82:5 NKJV says, “They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are unstable.” We shine our light by simply living in the consciousness that we are the light of the world.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE GENEROUS WITH OUR LIGHT FOR THE WORLD TO SEE AND GLORIFY GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
