For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6 NLT

To shine our light demands that we live beyond our senses and walk in the consciousness of the light in us. The proceeding verse of our theme verse says, “We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.”(2 Corinthians 4:7 NLT)

This simply means that we do not see ourselves as the light of the world by external standards. Rather by what we have inside. We are just weak vessels but we are sustained by this great power from God. Just as God made the sun to shine by the day and it abides. In the same way, we shall also abide because God made us as the light of the world He loves so much.

Beloved, Psalms 33:5 tells us that The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

However, many are not seeing it because many christians refused to shine their light . Imagine how the world would be if the sun refused to give its light. “ No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.”(Matthew 5:15 NLT) Be generous with your light, the world needs to see this wonderful grace of God in us and glorify Him.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE GENEROUS WITH OUR LIGHT FOR THE WORLD TO SEE AND GLORIFY GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
