BE IMMANUEL CONSCIOUS

And I will walk in and with and among you and will be your God, and you shall be My people.

There is a song that sings “ Let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say that I am rich because of what the Lord has done for us.” In Christianity, the weak are strong and the poor are rich not by our strength or possessions but because God is with us. Remember, we no longer live, Christ lives in us. The same Christ that strengthens the poor and the weak, also strengthens the rich and the strong.

Just as the Israelites in Numbers 13, we might encounter giants in our lives such as in our finances, marriages, health and wellbeing. Are we seeing them with the eye of grasshoppers or with the eye of “Christ in you the hope of glory”? I like what Joshua and Caleb said regarding the giants they encountered, “And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”‭‭ (Numbers‬ ‭14:8‭-‬9‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

In the same way, do not be afraid of the giants in our lives, why? Immanuel, the Lord is with us. ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬ says, “Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”

We have the same origin as Jesus, “ as He is so are we now in this world”

If you want to be like our Heavenly Father , start living in the consciousness of Immanuel both in good times and in bad times. Always be aware of His presence, for “All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.”‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬
