BE PREPARED II

“But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” says the Lord . “You are my servant. You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God— there never has been, and there never will be - Isaiah 43:10

The Lord's death and resurrection prepares us for the work which God planned for us before the foundation of the world- To be His witness on earth. We have to wear the full armor of God and be prepared to testify for our God in all aspects of our lives. When Jesus first sent out apostles , He told them to take nothing with them, but prior to his death, He commanded them “But now,” he said, “take your money and a traveler’s bag. And if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one!

(Luke 22:36)

Be prepared for war, the Lord said “ I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household” (Matthew 10:34‭-‬36 ) In this battle, let's not believe our fellow humans are the enemies as satan will make us believe, that's not what Christ is saying, satan is the real enemy and target.

Focus on God's praise, not human's. Let's be soldiers of Christ, The Lord advised us it won't be easy, but be assured He has overcome the world. He promised us not even a single hair of ours will be lost, for our hairs are counted. Let's carry our cross with joy knowing that the Lord has put His Spirit in us so despite all these challenges overwhelming victory is ours through Jesus Christ who loves us”( Rom 8:36)

Be joyful in the Lord and never lose our identity- who we are !
