BE READY TO RECEIVE THE LORD

Always be ready! You don't know when the Son of Man will come.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:44‬ ‭CEV‬‬

Are you waiting on the Lord joyfully or are we afraid to welcome Him? Let us not be afraid for He is the groom, waiting joyfully to welcome His bride. We should also be longing with ecstatic joy to meet with Him. No cold feet! John the Baptist said, “ The bride belongs to the bridegroom”. (‭‭John‬ ‭3:29‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Remember, God is the one that restored us, He will also preserve those He restored till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says,”He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.(‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:8‭-‬9‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Remain in the Lord daily with His words, meditate on His words day and night. The Holy Spirit keeps us dedicated to the Lord through His words. Remember, we will always find new strength to live by and to receive Him as we wait eagerly for Him. ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ says, “ But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE READY TO RECEIVE THE LORD TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
