Have you wondered why the apostles during the storm did not recognize Jesus. Even though they have been with Jesus from the beginning. Matthew 14:25-26 MEV says, “During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. But when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a spirit.” And they cried out in fear.” They were troubled and afraid,

Fears, worries, cares of the world can make someone to miss the presence of Jesus, as the case with the apostles. Did you know that many christians might even not even recognize Jesus when He comes again, because of worries cares of the world, fears etc. The Lord said, “Luke 21:34 MEV says, “Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts become burdened by excessiveness and drunkenness and anxieties of life, and that Day comes on you unexpectedly.”

Be christ conscious ,rather than sin consciousness, set your eyes on Him always. saturate your minds and hearts with His goodness, aligning your thoughts with His thoughts, this way we remain in Him until He comes. 1 John 2:28 MEV

says, “And now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him when He comes.”
