OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

BOAST IN THE NAME OF JESUS

Boast about his holy name. Everybody who wants to worship the Lord should be very happy!

‭Psalms 105:3 EASY‬

In Acts 26, St. Paul, a prisoner in Caesarea was defending himself before Governor Festus, King Agrippa and his dignitaries. At a point King Agrippa asked him if he thinks he can persuade him to be a Christian in a short time. In verse 29, St. Paul replied, “Whether a short time or a long time,” Paul answered, “my prayer to God is that you and all the rest of you who are listening to me today might become what I am—except, of course, for these chains!”

Imagine St Paul in such an unattractive position as a prisoner in Caesarea, telling a king like Agrippa and as well as His dignitaries to be like him. He knows he has what they don't have, “Christ in you the hope of glory “ Imagine in a corrupted world as it is today, that we have escaped corruption because we are in Christ, that we are the partakers of His divine nature, something the world would love to have.

Even St. Peter regardless of his social status was persuading people to Christ. The Bible says of him, “With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.” (‭Acts 2:40 BSB‬) Let us stand strong in the Lord, be proud of who we are in Christ so as to persuade others to Jesus! We really have a good inheritance!

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BOAST AND BE HAPPY IN THE LORD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
