Isaiah 40:10 BSB

This scenario will help us to prepare our minds in joyful hope when we receive Holy communion. Matthew 15:30 BSB says, “ Large crowds came to Him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and laid them at His feet, and He healed them.” Our troubles today are not different from the troubles people faced when Jesus walked on earth.

The same Jesus that healed all that were placed at His feet, paid the price for our completeness in Him. (Isaiah 53:5)

Do you think He will not complete us?

In Matthew 15:32 ESV, Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion on the crowd because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”

Imagine being helpless in a desert like those crowds Jesus fed . Do you think if we come before Him in Holy Communion He will not complete us in His body and blood? Knowing that He is the only one who can complete us, for if He doesn't we might faint in this desert world.

Isaiah 40:29 ESV says, “ He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.”

BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, HOSSANNA IN THE HIGHEST!
