BRAVO ! CHRIST THE FOOD OF THE NEW CREATION III TWO HAS BECOME ONE

John 6:56 NLT

It is said that you are whatever you eat, for what we eat remains in us. The Lord is telling us in our theme that “anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him”. Unlike food that some goes to waste after digestion, none of Him goes to waste, His life remains in us. That is, two has become one. Psalms 139:5 NLT says, “ You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.”

The passion translates it this way, “You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid your hand on me!”(Psalms 139:5 TPT) Christ in us is our glory, strength and our power to live and move and have our being. He goes before us in all things to set our path right. Psalms 85:13 NLT says, “Righteousness goes as a herald before him, preparing the way for his steps.”

We in Him, means we are set apart from the decays of this fallen world, that is the harm of our past lives, hence we are ever holy and blameless before God.

Ephesians 1:4 NLT says, “ Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.”

So, through Holy Communion, not only does His righteousness set our paths right, His peace also follows us behind to make sure we are not hurt from the decays of this world, the horrors of our past lives.Psalms 85:10 NLT says, “..Righteousness and peace have kissed!”

BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, HOSSANNA IN THE HIGHEST!
