BUILD INNER STRENGTH

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.
Psalms 119:71 MEV
The Lord said in Matthew 4:4 MEV, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” WE should consider our moments of troubles as opportunities to live on the word of God. For just as bread has its own nutrients, the Word of God is Spirit and life. When we persevere during afflictions by pondering the word of God,
we are filled with His Spirit, and our spirits are imbued with His power and strength.
Isaiah 40:31 MEV says, “ but those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.”
The Greek word translated as wait is “qavah”. Its root meaning is, to intertwine, to align. As we align our thoughts with God's thoughts, we are renewed in strength, we build inner strength and stamina needed to withstand the storms of life.
No wonder the Lord said, “Whoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. And it did not fall, for it was founded on a rock.”
(Matthew 7:24-25 MEV)
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BUILD INNER STRENGTH THROUGH PERSEVERANCE IN TRIALS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
