Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”

Psalms 46:10

The greatest gift God gave us His beloved children is the gift of the Holy Spirit. This Spirit identifies us as his children, and requires us to be calm and confident in every situation no matter how challenging. Note that He does not make us to be calm, but we stay calm so His power in us might be manifested in our lives. That is why the Lord is telling us to be calm so we can experience His working power in us. “Be still, and know that I am God”

In Mark 4, though the apostles did the right thing to wake Jesus up so they would not drown, Jesus preferred faith in Him, to their right acts done out of fear. “But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”

(Mark 4:40 NKJV) Many prefer to have all they need before being calm and confident, but God gave us Jesus, so we can be calm and confident, for whoever has Christ. has everything.

Always remember that we are like clay jars carrying treasure. This means that our power to prosper in all things and be of good health is not from us, but from God. Notice that the first sign the Lord gave us when He came down on earth to deliver the Israelites from the hands of the Egyptians, was the sign of “ the Bush engulfed in flames but never burn up” (Ex 3:2) With human eyes, we might feel incomplete and troubled at a given situation we are passing through; but in the eyes of the Lord , we are complete in Him.

Be calm and enjoy His peace

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE CALM IN TRIBULATIONS SO AS TO EXPERIENCE AND TESTIFY TO HIS WORKING POWER IN OUR LIVES IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
