my soul is glad because of God my Savior,”

Luke 1:47 GNT

Do you Celebrate Jesus with bubbling joy because He is your Saviour? Our hearts should be filled with joy knowing that God is the one that saved us. The Lord prayed, “I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.”(John 17:23 ESV) Think of what it means that Jesus lives in us with the expectation of showing the world through us that the Father loves us and sent Him.

The world cannot know that God loves us and that He sent Jesus if we don't know it from our heart first. For such knowledge is our joy and they need to see this joy of Christ in us for them to accept Christ. Unless we have an intimate relationship with God and not of the world, we cannot celebrate Christ joyfully. Simeon had a good relationship with God, the Bible said he is righteous and devout. Think of how he welcomed baby Jesus as God's salvation, “ For my eyes have seen your salvation “ ( Luke 2:30)

No wonder St. Paul said in Galatians 6:14 NIV, “ May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” All our interests in this world, our haves and have-nots are crucified with the Lord, we should be celebrating Christ without care in the world. Our default mindset in all things should be what Mary said in our theme, “my soul is glad because of God my Savior,”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO CELEBRATE CHRIST WITH BUBBLING JOY IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
