CHEER UP WE ARE UNITED WITH CHRIST

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

‭Psalms 46:1 NIV‬

In ‭John 14:10 NIV‬, the Lord said to Philip,,

“Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.” If we understand this that Jesus told Philip, we will let go of our human power, no more struggles to get things done, instead we will be calm and at peace.

Christ is our refuge for we are baptized into Him. ‭ Psalms 91:9-10 RSV-C says, “Because you have made the Lord your refuge, the Most High your habitation, no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent.” Christ in us is our strength, our ever present help in all circumstances, for He is our hope of glory. He is the strength of our finances, marriages, health etc. Our righteousness is from Him.

‭Philippians 4:13 AMPC‬ says, “ I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].” He is at work in us for we no longer Iive. ‭Psalms 73:26 NIV‬ says, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE CHEERFUL FOR WE ARE UNITED WITH CHRIST IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
