DISCOVER THE TRUTH AND LIVE FREELY III
“Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,”
1 Peter 1:23 NKJV
Beloved, be bold and courageous! Your new life in Christ is built on an unshakable foundation—the incorruptible Word of God. Unlike our natural life, which fades with time, our new life in Christ is born of an imperishable seed.
1 Peter 1:24 NKJV reminds us, “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away.” Human strength fades, earthly achievements lose their glory, and favorable circumstances can change. But the Word of God stands forever!
No wonder David declared, “To all perfection I see a limit, but your commands are boundless” (Psalm 119:96 NIV). Everything earthly has its limits, but God's Word has no expiration date. Psalm 40:2 NIV says, "He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” Hallelujah! God has brought us out of unstable ground and established our feet on the Rock. The world's foundations may shake, but the truth of God's Word remains steadfast.
This is why we must refuse to conform to the patterns and values of this world. Instead, we must renew our minds and remain firmly rooted in God's eternal truth. As Jesus declared, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32 NIV).
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND FIRM IN GOD'S ETERNAL TRUTH AND NOT ON THE WORLD'S UNSTABLE FOUNDATIONS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
