Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Hebrews 12:3 NIV

The Lord faced too many oppositions, insults, yet He never gave up, rather He set His mind on God. The Bible says about Him, “He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him”

(Isaiah 53:2 NIV) He went through a desert experience similar to what we are going through now, as well as the Israelites did.

Imagine the Son of God, through whom all things were created, yet He grew up before God like a tender shoot, like a root of a dry ground. That is He went through hard times, insults from sinners before the Father who sent Him, for He came to do the Father's will. Imagine that the Father had Him perform miracles on a sabbath day, leaving Him at the mercy of angry Jewish authorities, yet He still obeyed the Father. How about an earthly gentile king judging a Holy God, yet He humbled Himself before the Father.

This should encourage us, for many challenges we face are not necessarily of the evil one, rather we are sent by Jesus to display God's greatness, and His greatness is displayed greatly in our weaknesses. So, we are not answerable to our circumstances or to what people may say, rather we are answerable to Jesus, who sent us. He is with us till the end of time. Let's not be discouraged and keep trying.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAY ENCOURAGED DESPITE OUR WEAKNESSES IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
