DO NOT BE ENSLAVED BY THE FEAR OF DEATH

Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

Hebrews 2:14 NKJV

We really have no reason to live in fear of death. Many can not visit their families and friends because they are afraid of death. That should not be so with us for in Christ, death has lost its power over us. Christ has destroyed him who had the power of death. The 15th verse of our theme says, “and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Hebrews 2:15 NKJV) Let us not be enslaved by the fear of death, we are free from it.

Christ has the key of death, in Revelation 1:18 NKJV, He said, “And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” And it is in Him we are complete. Beloved the grace of God in our life, is huge, our account is fully loaded with His grace. We cannot exhaust it. We are living from Christ’s abundance and not our own. He is supplying us all we need for our finances, marriages, health etc from His own abundance. So we cannot afford to live in fear of death, hate, grudge, malice etc
