And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].

‭‭John 1:5 AMPC‬‬

In Physics, our human eyes see the color of an object, because when natural light falls on it, it absorbs other colors, reflecting the one visible to our human eyes. However, we are not humans, we are spirit beings. Though we live in this world as humans, we do not walk in the same light as humans do. Unlike the natural light, our text tells us that our light cannot be absorbed by darkness. All our colors are reflected.

This means that our light defines all things, and not the other way round. Many could not shine their light because they walk in natural light, hence allowing all things to define them, by reflecting all the dictates it throws at them. That is why many accept themselves as sick, poor, etc. Let us not look at our circumstances with the natural light, but with our true Light, the Word of God.

Adam was the one that named the animals, they never named him. The world believes in sin and death, we believe in righteousness and life. The people defined Lazarus as dead, Jesus said he was sleeping. In every challenge, our breakthrough is not in so much prayer and fasting, but in overcoming all their dictates by reflecting our own dictates, our true Light from the word of God that can never be absorbed by the world.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE BY OUR STANDARDS AS THOSE FROM ABOVE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
