DO NOT LIVE BELOW YOUR STANDARD III

They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

‭‭John 17:16-17 NIV‬‬

We are not of this world, hence our standard of living is different from those of the world. ‭‭2 Corinthians 10:3 NLT‬‬ says,

“We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do.” The peace we enjoy in our lives is different from that of the world. Our prosperity in health, finance, marriage etc is not the same as those in the world. One might say, how about David, Solomon etc, that were so prosperous.

The truth is that we have a new covenant now, we live from the heart, the Spirit. The Bible says, “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 31:33 NIV‬‬) “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts” God sees from the heart not from physical appearance.

All our possessions we see are not all we have, our storehouse is in the spirit.

Remember Jesus told the Samaritan woman, “But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.” (‭‭John 4:23 NLT‬‬)

To see as God sees our life, is to see from the spirit, and that is by His words.
