DO NOT LIVE BY WORLDLY STANDARDS

Remember that you are descendants of God's servant, Abraham. You are Jacob's descendants, and God has chosen you to be his people.

I like how the Lord always reminds us who we are, He always wants us to remember who we are in a secular world that walks by sight. ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. “ consider Isaac,

when there were so much famine that people were running away, God commanded him to stay, and he obeyed and planted in the land and reaped a hundredfold that same year. (Genesis 26)

When the Lord sent the apostles out He told them, “Whatever home welcomes you as a guest, remain there and make it your base of ministry.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:4‬ ‭TPT‬‬)

In ‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:7‬ ‭TPT‬‬, He told them,” Don’t shift from one house to another, but stay in one home during your time in that city. Eat and drink whatever they serve you. Receive their hospitality, for you are my harvester, and you deserve to be cared for.”

Beloved, we are God kind of people living in the world with custorms different from ours, let us not copy their ways. Just as the apostles were not defined by the home of ministry, in the same way, we are not defined by our job status, family and otherwise. As God's own harvesters, we don't rush after the wealth of the Gentiles, we receive them for they have been given to us!

Imagine sending your children to a country for ministry they went there and started adopting their traditions
