DO NOT RESTRAIN THE AUTHOR OF LIFE?

and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.

Acts 3:15 ESV

Many have restrained the Author of life by not living in sweet fellowship with His Spirit in us. Amos 3:3 ESV says, “Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet? We want to be our own author of life, we want to be the one that decides when and how things should happen to us, with no regards to God's own will and timing.

Psalm 139:16 GNT says, “ you saw me before I was born. The days allotted to me had all been recorded in your book, before any of them ever began.” If a righteous God, the Author of life, wrote down every detail of our lives before we were born as the Psalmist said, don't you think He knows what we need ?

Luke 11:11-13 GNT says, “Would any of you who are fathers give your son a snake when he asks for fish? Or would you give him a scorpion when he asks for an egg? As bad as you are, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more, then, will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

The Father already knows what we need and when. He has given us Himself, His Holy Spirit, so we can have all we need at the right time. Just as the Lilies have their inherent lives, the Holy Spirit dictates our life at every stage of our life, He is the One that bears witness that we are the beloved children of God. He is our Author Of life, let us live patiently in sweet fellowship with Him. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 GNT says, “Do not restrain the Holy Spirit; “
