DO NOT SURRENDER TO FEAR BUT SURRENDER TO GOD

Don’t worry or surrender to your fear. For you’ve believed in God, now trust and believe in me also.

John 14:1 TPT

Psalms 49:5 TPT says, “There’s no reason to fear when troubling times come, even when you’re surrounded with problems and persecutors who chase at your heels.” Why? The 8th and 9th verse says, “ A soul’s redemption is too costly and precious for anyone to pay with earthly wealth. The price to pay is never enough to purchase eternal life for even one, to keep them out of hell.” (Psalms 49:8-9 TPT)

OUR wealth, sinning less life, sickness free or crisis free life can neither determine nor pay for our redemption, rather the finished work of the cross does. Instead of surrendering to fear in troubled times, let us surrender to God and to Jesus who had said, “..in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” (John 16:33 TPT)
