and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

- Acts 19:2

Through baptism, we received the Holy Spirit. Some of us received him when we were babies, and some as adults. It is necessary we recognize this presence of Jesus in our lives because, Holy Spirit, is the manifestation of God's presence in our lives. We have to stay in communion with him through the word of God, and spend quiet times with him in meditation. We cannot miss out on this great gift of God.

From our opening verse, we can see the connection between knowledge and receiving. To receive divine life, as Jesus told us, we have to know God and our Lord Jesus - Jn 17: 3

The scripture also said "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without someone telling them ? - Rom 10:14

Holy Spirit is our helper, He helps us to communicate our needs to God. He also communicates the will of God to us. Without the Holy Spirit, there will be a huge barrier in communication between God and mankind. It is necessary for us to stay in communion with the Holy Spirit.

He connects our humanity to the divine nature of God, that is God in us and we in God. This way God can understand us and we can understand God. So the scripture says "In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me (Jer 29:12‭ -‬13 ) In another place it says "I will answer them before they even call me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!

Isaiah 65:24

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO GROW IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPIRIT OF JESUS IN US,IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
