The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.
John 8:29 NIV
Jesus once told a parable about the rich fool with abundant harvest: “And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!”’ “But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’ “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.”(Luke 12:19-21 NLT)
A rich relationship with God is by faith and not by having it all. It is by seeing ourselves in all our troubles, as just weak vessels but our sufficiency is from God.
It is by responding positively to what God has done in Christ to set us right with Himself.
Jesus, while on earth, had a rich relationship with God. He was always conscious of the Father's presence in Him, irrespective of His troubles and insults from sinners. “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?” It is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. (John 14:10 NIV) That is humility, Let us have this Christ’s mindset, for the gospel of Jesus Christ is by faith to faith.
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE BY FAITH IN WHAT GOD HAS DONE IN CHRIST JESUS, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
