DO YOU EAT THE FOOD THE WORLD DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT? II

But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.”

John 4:32 NKJV

In the Bible, the Israelites were set apart from the desert conditions by the Word of God. They prospered in all things in the desert not by their power but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. It was the word that fed them manna, fed them with water from the rock. Protected them from wild animals and poisonous snakes . That is why Moses told them

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth,..” (Deuteronomy 8:18 NKJV)

Just as the Israelites were set apart from the sufferings of the desert by the Word of God. In the same way, the Word of God is the only food we can eat and not suffer what the world suffers. How? We are set apart from the world by His word. In John 17:16-17 NKJV, the Lord said , “ They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”

Just as food contains nutrients that perform certain functions in the body. Proteins for tissue building, carbohydrates for energy etc. In the same way, Jeremiah 23:29 tells us that the Word of God is like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces. So, if we eat it daily, it breaks every yoke of hardships, marital brokenness, sickness, etc. Psalm 1 tells us that It makes you produce good fruit at the right time.

Instead of conforming to the world's tradition of brokenness, feed on the Word daily and be set apart from them.
