DO YOU KNOW YOUR OWNER?

The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master’s crib, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.”


Isaiah 1:3 ESV




Beloved, it is very delicate to live in a fallen world, a world besieged with so much cruelty and uncertainties, without knowing who your Owner and God is. Daniel 11:32 NKJV says, “ ….but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”


How do we know our Owner and God? Through His words. John 8:31-32 NKJV says, “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” And in verse 36, He said, “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”(John 8:36 NKJV)


The Lord is the Truth and He has set us free from all troubles. In John 16:33 NKJV, He said, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Are we living through the troubles of this world in good cheer, knowing that our Owner and God has overcome for us, or do we live through them in despair?


WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO KNOW OUR GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
