DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE IN CHRIST? II

OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

‭John 6:29 NKJV‬

Many Christians are still not enjoying eternal life because they have not believed in Him whom God sent, Christ.

That is why the only work God wants us to do even though we are born of God, is to believe, have a renewal of mind. Even though He gave us His peace, We still have to make sure our hearts are not troubled. Though He has overcome the world, we have to be of cheerful mind in all tribulations. For “With joy we shall draw water from the wells of salvation “.

The prodigal son, though a son, was living like a slave until he reckoned that He is a son, then his life was transformed. The Bible says, “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. [23] And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast,:(‭Luke 15:22-23 NLT‬)

Christ is our life and only hope of glory, He has the final say in our lives. That means no matter our circumstances, it must end in His glory. Hence we don't worry about our lacks in godliness, finances, health, marital etc For though the thief came to steal, kill and destroy, what matters is Christ has come that we might have it all in abundance.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BELIEVE IN CHRIST NOT IN OURSELVES FOR WE NO LONGER LIVE, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
