EMBRACE HIS MERCY

With your unfailing love you lead the people you have redeemed. In your might, you guide them to your sacred home.

Exodus 15:13 NLT

OUR theme was the song the Israelites gave God after the event in the Red sea. Yet they still doubted God during their wilderness circumstances,forgetting His mercy. In Deuteronomy 8:3 NLT, Moses said to the Israelites, “ he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna…. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.” If the same God, they praised His mercy also let them go hungry just to teach them, why wouldn't they trust Him?

How about us, how is our wilderness situation going? Are we those that lament ,not trusting God with our earthly circumstances? Hebrews 9:12 NLT says,

“ With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.”

If a merciful God has secured our redemption forever, why can't we trust Him with our earthly journey till we arrive home. Remember, through His Spirit in us, we are enjoying a foretaste of this heavenly life while on earth till we arrive home! Glory! Let us learn to live beyond our feelings and embrace His mercy daily, for man do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord”
