ENJOY EDEN'S LIFESTYLE BY OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORDS II

And they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’

Ezekiel 36:35 ESV

In Exodus chapter 16, God gave the Israelites strict instructions for gathering the manna. These were people that just came out of slavery, and have not seen such amounts of free food before. What strikes me with awe and wonder is that the same manna that when kept till morning became rotten with worms, did not rot when kept for two days, from the sixth day of the week till the sabbath day. This same manna also did not rot when kept as testimony for generations. How?

This is by obeying the word that comes from the mouth of God, for when they disobeyed and took more than they should, the manna became rotten with worms. All aspects of our lives, financial, marital, health etc, can be free from the rottenness, corruption in the world if we live them according to His words. 2 Peter 1:4 ESV says, “by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.”
