ENJOY EDEN'S LIFESTYLE BY OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORDS VI

And they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’

Ezekiel 36:35 ESV

We are set apart from the world and its troubles by the truth. In John 17:16-17 ESV the Lord said, “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” This simply suggests that we are not sustained by the world rather by the word of God. Our prosperity in all things as well as our health and wellbeing are all from the word of God.

Psalms 119:50 NIV says, “ My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.” His Word preserves our financial life, marital life, health and wellbeing etc . It holds us up in troubled times. For instance, proverbs 4:22 says that the Word of God imparts life and health to our bodies. Also Proverbs 17:22 NIV says, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Instead of struggling from one medication to another, we can feed on His Words daily and be imparted with true life , health and joy. Then sickness and depression will flee.

God's own words is His own Spirit and life. The more we feed on His Words, His life becomes operational in all aspects of our lives. Jesus, while on earth lived in this consciousness. In John 5:30 BSB, He said, “I can do nothing by Myself”. In another place He said, “..The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works.”(John 14:10 BSB)
