ENJOY EDEN'S LIFESTYLE BY OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORDS VIII

And they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’

Ezekiel 36:35 ESV

The book of Daniel chapter 1, gave account of 4 Israelites, Daniel and his three friends who refused to eat the king's food and wine so as not to defile themselves. Instead they ate a vegetable diet with water for 10 days. At the end of the ten days, they looked healthier and more nourished than the rest who ate the king's food. God also blessed them with an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom. And gave Daniel a great understanding of visions and dreams.

Psalm 119:99 ESV says, “ I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation.”

Imagine that they received such great favor and talents from God by obeying God, not allowing themselves to be defiled by the king's food. Romans 12:2 ESV says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Many did not know that we can possess our possessions simply by living in the will of God. We are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. We can possess them by obeying His words. Talents that people struggle to get in life are ours by living in His words.

Always remember disobedience kicked man out of Eden, and obedience to His words gives us Eden's life.
