ENJOY HIS PEACE

I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

John 14:27 NLT

God gave us His own peace, something the world cannot give, why should we worry about the peace the world gives, the peace that comes from things of the world? The world rests in what is seen, but God is offering us something greater than that, peace from the unseen, rest through our union with Him. The issue is that many live from this world. But we are not of this world. Our peace is from God. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NIV)

Think about those in Noah's Ark,

( Genesis 7). They all had the same way of life, eating and sleeping in the same Ark for 40 days and 40 nights. Even though there was a great flood in the world, they found rest in the Ark. We should see ourselves the same way in Christ. Seek our peace in Christ,, through our knowledge of God and Jesus, and not of the world. ( 2 Peter 1:2) It doesn't matter the flood in the world today, be it financial, marital, sickness, etc, it will not affect us for we are in Christ . “ In me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NIV)
