ENJOY HIS SHEER PROVIDENCE

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

Psalms 23:1 NIV

In the Bible, the Israelites in the desert did not trust God"s providence. A God who delivered them from slavery in Egypt and was carrying them with eagle wings. Nehemiah 9:12 NIV says, “By day you led them with a pillar of cloud, and by night with a pillar of fire to give them light on the way they were to take.

Imagine being in an airplane in the air, halfway to your destination and yet don't trust the pilot. God was the one sustaining the Israelites in the desert yet they still don't trust Him. Moses said to them, “Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock” (Deuteronomy 8:4, 15 NIV)

Let us not doubt God's providence in our lives. God that saved us from death when we were nothing by His unfailing love, won't He preserve us with His unfailing love till the day of the Lord? Philippians 1:6 NIV says, “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
