FELLOWSHIP WITH CHRIST SUFFERINGS

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Philippians 3:10 NKJV

Fellowship with His sufferings is to stand in solidarity with His finished work of the cross. Show reverence for His sufferings by accepting and living in agreement with His words. For instance, Isaiah 53:5 RSV-C says,” But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that made us whole, and with his stripes we are healed”.

Beloved, we are those crucified with Christ , His only chosen friends on earth, we should be the ones living by His finished work of the cross. We should

live above our feelings. “ man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” We stay in agreement with Christ that, irrespective of our feelings, that His wounds have healed us, His chastisements have made us whole.

Philippians 3:9 RSV-C says, “and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, based on law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith.” God loves righteousness by faith, only those who are set right with Himself by faith lives. This is how we receive our healings etc, through fellowship with His sufferings on the cross.
