FELLOWSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

‭ What we have seen and heard we announce to you also, so that you will join with us in the fellowship that we have with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:3 GNT‬

Fellowship with the Holy Spirit is a life we are born into. It is surrendering to His life in us, oneness with the Supreme Godhead. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit is a life of seeing what He does and doing it. The Lord said, “I tell you the truth: the Son can do nothing on his own; he does only what he sees his Father doing”. (‭John 5:19 GNT‬)

We are children of the Holy Spirit, one Spirit with Him, same image and likeness, hence can only do what He does. The only way we can see and do what He does is through His words. The Bible tells us that before Jesus was taken up, He gave instructions by the power of the Holy Spirit to his apostles. (‭Acts 1:2 ) WE are called to live the same way. How?.By agreeing to His words and living in them daily.

The Lord said, “ But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (‭John 16:13 NIV‬)

How does He guide us into all the truth? Through His words, “ thy word is truth”. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit is living in agreement with His words of truth. ‭Amos 3:3 KJV‬ says, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
