O Lord, I am your servant; yes, I am your servant, born into your household; you have freed me from my chains.

Psalms 116:16 NLT

If only we could understand that all our chains of slavery are broken, and that we are now members of God's household. All these worries, hustlings and breakthrough frenzies would disappear. Psalms 91:4 NLT says about those living in God's household, “He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”

The Israelites while in the desert lived under the care of the Father. They found shelter under His wings. They found Manna from heaven, water from rock, fires by night and clouds by day. The same way, though we are in this troubled world, we find rest in Him . Isaiah 60:2 NLT says, “Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you.”

Just pause and imagine yourself sitting on our heavenly Father's lap! Psalms 103:13 NLT says, “The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.” Learn to rest in His divine care. All that the Father has is ours. John 3:35 NLT says, “ The Father loves his Son and has put everything into his hands.” WE are joint heirs with Christ, Romans 8:17 NLT says, “And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory..”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REST IN THE FATHER'S CARE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
