O Lord, I am your servant; yes, I am your servant, born into your household; you have freed me from my chains.
Psalms 116:16 NLT
Jesus did not redeem us so we can care for ourselves, rather it is His own idea to redeem people He wants to care for. So who are we to worry over ourselves? Think of your laundry. Our clothes don't care if we wash them or not, we are the ones that worry about washing them, because they shouldn't be dirty. This is our relationship with Christ. We no longer live, He lives in us, He cares for us for we are His own.
God said, “I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you” (Isaiah 46:4 NLT) Christ cares and cleanses His church with His words, for we are holy. In John 17:19 NLT, He said, “And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.”
Ephesians 5:26 NLT says, “to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.”. We are holy beings, living in a dirty world, our duty is to bring ourselves to Him, hear His words so we can be cleansed of all that defiles us.
In John 17:17 NLT, the Lord said, “Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.”
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REST IN THE FATHER'S CARE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
