‭‭For our life is a matter of faith, not of sight.

2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭GNT‬‬

II Corinthians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭GNT‬‬ says, “No longer, then, do we judge anyone by human standards. Even if at one time we judged Christ according to human standards, we no longer do so.” In Mark 6, the Lord came to His native place but was not able to perform any mighty deeds because of the people's lack of faith. That is why we cannot afford to walk by sight, we cannot define ourselves and one another by our natural circumstances.

Imagine that David, upon all the victory God gave him, did a census of His army as if it is his size of army that gave him victory. The Bible tells us it was Satan that incited him to do so and not God (See 1 chronicles 21) No wonder the Lord said that it is only by the power of God's Spirit we can give Him the worship He seeks, and His words bring God's life giving Spirit. Let us keep ingesting the word for through that we can live in the awareness of the extraordinary in this ordinary world. Glory!
