DO NOT BE A SILENT WATCHDOG, PRAY FOR YOUR LAND

But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,

Beloved, the Lord is telling us in our theme not to live for self gain. We are the salt the salt of the earth and not the salt of ourselves. Isaiah 56:10-12 NLT says, “.. the Lord’s watchmen, his shepherds— are blind and ignorant. They are like silent watchdogs that give no warning when danger comes. They love to lie around, sleeping and dreaming. Like greedy dogs, they are never satisfied. They are ignorant shepherds, all following their own path and intent on personal gain. “Come,” they say, “let’s get some wine and have a party. Let’s all get drunk. Then tomorrow we’ll do it again and have an even bigger party!”

The world is getting darker and increasingly difficult to live in because the salt of the earth are silent watchdogs, sleeping and dreaming. Isaiah 62:6-7 NLT

“O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord. Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.

Are you giving the Lord no rest by praying for our land day and night? Or are you on vacation? The enemy does not go on vacation or work part-time. Remember the story of Moses and the Amalekites, “As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning.” (Exodus 17:11 NIV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE AS THE SALT OF THE EARTH TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
