GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE

Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? No, it is for this purpose that I have come to this hour.

John 12:27 BSB

These words of the Lord are so touching. Imagine how troubling the Lord’s mission on earth was to Him, yet He never gave up. He could have asked the Father to save Him from it, “ ‘Father, save Me from this hour’. And the Father could have done so, but He chose not to. Why? He said, “No, it is for this purpose that I have come to this hour.” He must fulfill His purpose on earth.

Remember, Jesus is the Word of God, and the word of God does not come back void, rather must fulfill the purpose for which it is sent. We also are consubstantial with Jesus, for we are born of the word of God. “ As the Father has sent Me, so also I am sending you.” (John 20:21 BSB) Hence our life on earth is not in vain and must fulfill its purpose on earth.

Beloved, do you know the purpose for which you were sent? Are you ready to fulfill your purpose as Jesus did irrespective of the challenges? We are not called for an ordinary life which does not last, but for extraordinary , a supernatural life to achieve results that lasts. ”You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain..” (John 15:16 BSB)
