REFLECTIONS FROM BOOK OF ESTHER
GOD'S COMMANDS CANNOT BE REVOKED I
Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.
John 19:22 KJV
In the book of Esther chapter 8, after king Ahasuerus ordered the death of Haman, Esther also requested the king to reverse the command given by Haman to slaughter all the Jews, which Haman sealed with the king's ring. But the king could not reverse it for whatever is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, cannot be reversed.
Remember in Daniel 6:8, any decree written by the king according to the law of the Medes and Persians, cannot be reversed.
Think calmly about this: if any decree written by a human king according to the law of medes and Persians (Daniel 6:8), cannot be reversed, how about God's commands, His eternal words? Let us practice daily to stand strong in the word of God even though we don't understand all. Mary did not have any human claim or reasoning to back up a virgin birth, yet she believed the words spoken to her by the angel, ““Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38 NKJV)
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND STRONG IN THE WORD OF GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
