God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

Psalms 46:5 NIV

God led the Israelites to the wilderness where they cannot do anything by themselves. He preserved them from the heat of the desert, the wild animals and also provided them with food and water. Deuteronomy 8:15-16 NIV says, “He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you.”

In the same way, though we are spirit beings born of God, the same image and likeness as Jesus, God placed us in this weak body, so that our strength will be from Him. Just as with the Israelites in the desert, He is the only one that sustains us in this weak body so that sickness, hardships and all the fallenness of this world cannot destroy us till the day of the Lord.

Unlike the Israelites that murmured against God because they focused on the desert conditions rather than on God that sustained them. We should look past the weakness of our earthly tent and focus on the Lord that sustains us, who is mindful of our weaknesses. Isaiah 49:10 NIV says, “They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO TRUST IN GOD WHO SUSTAINS US IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
