GOD UPHOLDS THE CALLED

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

Isaiah 43:2 NLT

Beloved, be courageous because God called us, we did not call ourselves. Nothing on earth can outwit us for God upholds those He called. Psalms 89:20-22 NLT says,” I have found my servant David. I have anointed him with my holy oil. I will steady him with my hand; with my powerful arm I will make him strong. His enemies will not defeat him, nor will the wicked overpower him.”

Think about Joseph, neither the pit the brothers threw him into, nor the prison Potiphar threw him in could destroy him, for He was called by God. In all those, the Bible said that God was with Him.

( Genesis 39:2) Pharaoh could not lay hand on Moses when God sent Moses to Him, even though He initially sought to kill

Moses after he heard of the crime he committed. (Exodus 2:15)

Several times the Bible mentioned that the people tried to seize Jesus and kill Him, but couldn't because His time had not reached. On one occasion, John 7:30 MEV says, “So they tried to seize Him, but no one laid hands on Him, because His hour had not yet come.” Why? Because Of His calling as the Lamb of God. His time of sacrifice has not yet come.

Lets always be conscious of our calling, for He who called us is faithful. ( I Corinthians I:9)
