GROW IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,

-‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The Bible says, “When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” (‭‭Exodus‬ ‭13:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬) The same way, children of God need to grow in the knowledge of God so we don't falter in difficult moments.

Christian life is not a stagnant life, or a life one live by the senses. It is a life of those who are dead to the world and alive to God. So we live by faith in God day to day, for God is Spirit and can not be pleased or worshiped without faith. The sweetest part is that God has given us the life that enables us to know Him! How? The Lord said “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”(‭‭John‬ ‭17:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬)
