GUARD WHAT IS COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH

It is not what goes into your mouth that makes you ritually unclean; rather, what comes out of it makes you unclean.”

OUR worries or fear should not be on what the world throws at us, for it is not what comes at us that destroys us, but what is coming from us, our reaction to it.

I have seen people say it is because they ate this food that made them sick. Many say that if they lose this job they will die. It is not about the food we eat that makes us sick or the job we lose, rather our reaction to it, what is coming out of us.

Romans 6:11 NKJV tells us to “reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Sin is what produces all kinds of distress, sickness, hardships, depression etc in our lives. But we are dead to it , so it has lost its dominion over us, for we have left its realm of distress. But we live in God's realm, righteousness dominates us producing life in all things.

Beloved, we are walking through this fallen world as God's righteousness in Christ period, no weapon fashioned against us can ever prosper. ( Isaiah 54:17-18) The only thing that can change that is what is coming from us due to our ignorance. Proverbs 6:2 NKJV says,

“ You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth.” And what is coming out of us depends on what we treasure in our heart. Are we setting our hearts on the distractions of the natural realm or on righteousness of God whom we are alive to?

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO GUARD WHAT IS COMING OUT OF US WITH GOD'S WORD, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
