GUIDE HOW YOU SEE
Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.
Luke 10:23 NIV
In the preceding verses of our text the apostles found out that they have power over demons and not the other way round. That made the Lord rejoice in Spirit, and He still rejoices to see us living on revelational truth. On one occasion He said, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 16:17 NIV) This shows how much we need to live on the revelations of true things about God, Jesus Christ and us, as we wait in joyful hope for the second coming of our Lord Jesus.
“Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.” So we need to watch out for what we see. Today, the enemy accuses us daily with sin, are we living in the consciousness of sin that causes us to dread the second coming of the Lord or are we living in Christ consciousness needed to receive the Lord, for as He is sinless and distress free, so are we now in the world”.
Remember the words of the Lord, “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.”(Luke 21:34 NIV) No matter the giants of Anaks in our lives, always ask, if God is with us who can be against us? Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” (John 11:21 NIV). Romans 8:10 NIV says, “ if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.”
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO GUIDE HOW WE SEE TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
