HAVE YOU STORED HIS WORDS IN YOUR HEARTS?

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,

Ephesians 3:20 NIV

Just as the power of a generator determines how many appliances we can use. In the same way, the load of the word of God stored in our spirits, determines how much light we can display out there, that is how much power of God at work in us. If you have less word in our spirits, the less the power supply, hence less light we shine.

That is why our theme verse says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” The issue is not that God is not answering us, rather, we are the ones that are limiting God by not making His word operational in our hearts. The Lord once told the Pharisees that they make the word of God of no effect through their tradition (Mark 7:13 )

The Bible says about the word of God, “ In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.”(John 1:4 NIV) So the bigger the load of the word in our spirits the more power at work in our lives. The Lord said that in John 15:7 NIV, “ If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” That is we can reap a hundred fold if we saturate our spirits with His words.
